My research interests are diverse. Since my undergraduate career, I have always been inquisitive and willing to explore different topics and try to understand how everything links. I love integrated research. From genetics to molecular biology to environmental science, I enjoy exploring science at the micro and macro levels. In my spare time I think this regional champion would not mind a good challenge in the game of chess. I also love writing anything from fiction to poetry. I enjoy open landscapes of nature and the occasional photography. And I love travelling. And if I am not engulfed by any of these hobbies, I will most likely be found trying out new recipes, baking, cooking for family and listening to classical or choral music. The violin is a true reflection of me. I value family time and building strong bonds with loved ones – the epitome of my constant and unwavering support structure throughout the years.
